You don't want to hire someone you might not like, right?
Plus, sometimes photographers take your pictures for years to come - from maternity all the way until your little one is all grown up. You, hopefully, develop a relationship.
So, about me. I've spent years in front of the camera as a local news anchor. I first worked in Medford, Oregon and then Boise, Idaho. I enjoyed it very much! But through shooting video, I learned I also loved being behind the camera.
And once my little one was born, I ADORED being behind the camera. It was a little obsessive! But, it's for the practice too.
That's partially why I had to quit my job in local news. My little one needed me to be home and to be present. I was so tired - working overnight shifts and then coming home to a baby that needed my full attention.
So, my photography is a reflection of my love for my baby. I do it so that I can still stay home and care for my family.
Also, I'm married to a wonderful man who works in the children's ministry at our church. I am a Christian - which means Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. I will do my best to be a Christian photographer. Because being a Christian is not just one part of my life. It IS my life and everything I do needs to reflect that.
All that being said, I hope we can work together!
